  3. Applications: Powered fiber cables are used in remote network devices, security cameras, and other installations where both high-speed data and electrical power are needed over long distances .
  4. Integration: Devices at the receiving end must be compatible with the powered fiber system, often requiring specialized transceivers or converters .
